The sun rises, a new day breaks
False hope settles in once again
Futile attempts to gather what's left
Remnants of nights passed

A last glance towards the sky
A feeble outcry for mercy

Condemned to wander forevermore

Trying to melt these barren and frozen grounds
Wastelands hooded in snow, a prison of ice

A wanderer in the cold
Dying in his own land, his manmade mold

safe, sound and warm
Attributes of admiration
