The Soldier

As the body gains physical enhancements
The spiritual self becomes stronger.
Mentally force fed knowledge, power, Destination...strategy.
Who?...What?...Where am I? Where have I been?
Now even more than before...I know...

Courage of unimaginable depth. I fear nothing.
Programmed to kill...created to rule...
No personal ambitions exist for me...
Only the collective desire to murder.

We will prevail...

Coming to, I am alert. Full of energy.
I know I am myself but I feel unfamiliar.
As if an entity in another host...I am different.
Offensive and defensively elite. Ready for battle..
Mentally sound and purely thinking victory...
Highly elated state of Endurance...I am all.

All of my questions have been answered.
I know now my objective...Decimation...Annihilation.
With my bestial outer shell and my total knowledge and power.
We will murder the opposition. The unknown foe.

The pulling remains, only stronger now.
Our enhancements gave ability to see and know things...
A universal eye at will. I see everything.
A pre-glimpse of the objective shows another army moving toward us.

How is this possible?? A mirroring image of ourselves.
Though, identifiably marked. We are all the same.
Sorcery, mental and physical strengths
Far higher than mortals. How do we kill or
Defeat an army of equal power and immortality?
Others seem unbothered by these facts...
As I question my role as a soldier.
