I wish you no ill will
You had something to do

You sawed through the legs of my chair
And I tumbled, unstable, unfair
And as I'm falling down, you recovered my crown
I guess we all need something to wear

But I don't wanna feel like I'm fightin'
Just to make it through the night

Three stones made a vortex
Deep in the center of Texas

Is that all too much to demand?

Then I reached out to lay hands on granite
