Eighteen Forever

I saw the trees change in that golden, glittering evening. I fell asleep there, and all around me, angels were singing, and I dreamed I was aging away.

I saw the future, and I still had all my close friends. I saw my daughter, in love with ponies and roses, she looked just like her mother,

and with my heart shining through my chest, I provided her with light to grow. With my heart shining through my chest, I will light her way home.

And I know that life may be passing me by, but I want to be eighteen forever here. and I hope that life’s what I’m feeling inside, ‘cause I’m gonna be eighteen forever here. And I swear I will do my best, to have the time of my life while I’m here.

When I awoke there I was overcome with direction, but as I walked home I remembered lilacs and handsome nights when I painted my hands with gold,

Dieciocho Para Siempre

Ví los arboles cambiar en oro, noche brillante. Me quede dormido ahí, y todos alrededor mio, angeles cantaban, y soñé que envejecía lejos.

Vi el futuro, y todavía tenia a todos mis amigos cercanos. Vi a mi hija, enamorada de los ponies y las rosas, se veía igual que su madre.

Cuando desperté ahí, fui superado con dirección, pero a medida que caminaba a casa recordaba lilas y noches apuestas cuando pintaba mis manos con oro
