The mother and child, lay gutted side by side

In the pool of blood, created by his family
Stood a reflection, twisted with evil

Painted red, he stares in the mirror, knowing what he did...
Adrenaline rises, scrubbing the blood stained upon his skin...
It's permanent, never to be removed...
"It won't come off,
The blood won't wash away!"
"Please God help me, to cleanse myself of red!"

Straight razor -
lacerations on his wrist, more blood staining his vision...
Carving, at the flesh of his limbs, the stains -
will soon be removed...
Gripping the flesh of his arms, tearing the skin -
from his body...
Limb by limb, skinning himself -
The stains are no more...
"Now there is more blood
than when I started..."
