So Suddenly

When I was younger
I felt this hunger
The world was calling me to seek out all of life’s adventures
I dreamed of sailing
Across the oceans
And live life day by day always in constant motion

It’s quite a dream
Wish it was as simple as it seemed
To me to be
Will this remain a fantasy?

Imagine living with the world laid at your feet
No cares on your mind but to follow where your feet lead
The hands on the clocks don’t mean much of anything
Conquer the world but it wasn’t meant to be so suddenly

Morning coffee
I’m with my family
Seems I have everything that should make anyone happy
But inside I’m feeling
Like there’s something missing
Got no time to think on it cause I’ve got somewhere to be

Is there something wrong
With me? I feel I don’t belong here
I’ve gotta stay strong
In this life I know we don’t have long
