the sound of sirens serenaded like a storm
but i was tongue tied,
too involved and entangled in myself,
i couldn't let it go
it started out like any other day
we listened to the familiar sound of waves
but then the tide came
it wasted my life away
i watch, i wait and i wither away
god will fill this emptiness in me
there is nothing behind these clouds but aged and lifeless worlds,

we're nothing but victims of evolution;
