Is This The World We Created?

Just think of all those hungry mouth
we have to have to feed,
take a look at all the suffering we breed,
So many lonely faces scattered all around,
looking for what they need.

Is this the world we created?
What did we do it for?
Is this the world we invaded against the law?
So it seems, in the end.
Is this what we're all living for today,
the world we created?

You know that everyday
a helpless child is born,
who needs some loving care
inside a happy home.
Somewhere,
a wealthy man is sitting on his throne,
waiting for life to go by.

Is this the world we created,
we made it on our own.
Is this the world we devastated right to the bone?
If there's a God in the sky ,looking down,
what can he think of what we've done
to the world that He created?

¿Éste Es El Mundo Que Creamos?

Solo piensa en todas las bocas hambrientas
que alimentar,
mira alrededor todo el sufrimiento que creamos,
tantas caras solitarias dispersas por todas partes,
buscando lo que necesitan.

Es este el mundo que creamos?
Que hicimos por el?
Es este el mundo que invadimos contra las leyes?
Así parece, al final de todo.
Es esto por lo que estamos viviendo el presente,
el mundo que creamos?

Sabes que todos los días
nace un niño indefenso,
que necesita cuidado y amor
en un hogar feliz.
En alguna parte,
un hombre rico esta sentado en su trono,
esperando la vida pasar.

Es este el mundo que creamos,
lo hicimos nuestro.
Es este el mundo que devastamos hasta los huesos?
Si hay un Dios en el cielo, mirándonos,
que pensara de los que hicimos
en el mundo que El creo?
