The Cast Away

the story of a man who
faithfully obeyed
but was still cast away
to die unknown in far away land
His sword has rusted away
But time cannot erase those
who carry his sin
and thus are his kin
We lived marked the angel
of death and regret

Born into outlaw
we suffer the burden of his
loyalty
For he killed a holy man for the king
Dismissed into purgatory
wandering the north
Robbed of his glory
Thirtsy were his last days
and so we drink to him
