I can feel my eyes wide open
That's what they do as the morning comes
I look around I can see it
I reach and pop up a pill or two

It is a short wait I know it, know it
But seconds turn into hours now
It's just the best you've ever known
Makes you glow when you're blue inside

It's making a dent inside of you

I look around the wheels are turning
Just enough to keep'em from going down
But everything seems so barren
Yellow sand and no blue in sight

But the heat doesn't bother me at all
Thick skin is something I've alway know
But as you know the dark of night
Becomes your private siberia
