So sudden it seemed this tragic vision painted before my eyes
Amidst falling leaves I had found my beloved bloodstained and pale

Tan repentina pareció ésta trágica visión pintada ante mis ojos.
En medio de las hojas caídas había encontrado mi amado ensangrentado y pálido.
cayendo en la eternidad tan silenciosamente
Conciente de mi presencia ella volvió hacia mi su mirada agonizante.
Un último respiro y suspiró.
Todo muere ante mis ojos llenos de lágrimas
Muerta y silenciosa, una hoja dorada del otoño
