I get my money just once a week
Then I go walking in the High Street
All those posters try to catch my eye
Saying come in and buy me
I said 'my money's
just as good as the rest'
You tell me straight
you only deal in the best

But I'm afraid that I'm just clean out'

I don't believe you when you say
You ain't got what I want

I met some people
that really ought to know me
I'm coming on strong and they're
coming on slowly
Talking to them
just trying to get through
They say 'Come back
with something new'
My ideas - they're as good as the rest
You tell me straight

You say 'Don't come here
wasting my time'

but the company's mine'
