The nights pass, sleep and dreams
The ship rolling and creaking
And days, clouds rolling soundlessly

No landfall fragrance, peppery breeze
Then a morning comes, this one, of light different
Today awakening shows a color of ocean unrecognized
The sky too is a sky not witnessed before
