Rise On The Ashes

Once upon a time
A day began like any other day
All eyes gazed up
Then a wink of timeless eternity

A great explosion was heard
Yet, not a sound was stirred
Bright light flashed in the heaven
Land robbed of color, dead end

Stay away from here
And then close your eyes
For shadows appear
Shut out the sounds
For the screams will be haunting

Snow all around of doom
Black rain falling in the gloom
Tears of the souls, fall down
Into the ashes, fall down

Can you see the sight?
The shape gorging sand, in ecstasy
Can you feel the plight?
Hover with torn skin

Some follow ways
Roads of no return
Loved ones waiting for them
In sojourn
Children are not aware
Of the cause to say ‘good-bye’
What momentos are there
To be found!

Signs of life cast a glint of hope
When the tiny little flowers bloom again
The angels will return here and so then
Bring back the colors one day
