Winter... your silent steps don't break
The fragile dream of nature
When you arrive to rule the earth

White mistress...
With your precious hands
The bad of fallen autumn leaves
Is covered with soft snow veil

Plains and mountains snow-white
Lakes and rivers clad in ice
Praise your beauty
And your majesty...
Winter, hail to thee!

Queen... fresh and cold your breath
When sounds of mournful lullabye
Fly out from your frozen lips

You reign... your face is so tranquil
When you secure serenity
Of sleeping lands in your domain
Wintry winds among the trees
Dancing wolves in midnight hour
Chant the occult song
About your grandeur
And your power...

Your beauty... simple in it's coldness
It is voluptuous and so stern
Like frostworks early in the morning

Your eyes...
They are like frozen northern lakes
Inside them blue infinity
Of crystal clear radiant sky

Sometimes you're wrathful...
Everything is still
But then comes snowstorm
The mystery of furious dance

Sometimes you're sad... your tears are cold
They fall down by snowflakes
To cover and to warm
The dozing earth
