Ceata de nomazi
Dinspre munti coboara azi
Ceterele suna, ei in cerc se-aduna
Si pornesc nebuna Batacanda.
Sangele-i in clocot, chiote si hohot
Insotesc salbatic Batacanda
Drumu-i volbura de praf
Canta cel vestit taraf
Focul arde si miros de fum
Noaptea cade, dar ei
Danseaza Batacanda
Ursul umbla dezlegat
Caii din copita bat
Tiganci cu ghiocul, iti ghicesc norocul
Si-ti alina focul chiar de nu vrei
Ochii negrii-nteapa, se bea vinul, apa
Iar pamantul crapa sub pasii grei
Focul arde si miros de fum
